Mr. Kevin Tully joined SKE Forensic Consultants in 2015 as a Senior Associate and became a Partner of SKE in early 2019.

Mr. Tully has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.  He later obtained training in the field of Traffic Accident Reconstruction through Northwestern University prior to obtaining full accreditation as a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist from The Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR) in 2010.

Mr. Tully began his professional career as an engineer for the North American headquarters of Jaguar Land Rover for over eight years.  Mr. Tully has had the unique experience of crash testing vehicles at such venues as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and other test facilities acting on behalf of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), as a vehicle manufacturer engineer. As a manufacturer representative, Mr. Tully was present for compliance confirmatory testing at various agencies here in the United States and in the U.K. He performed testing at the manufacturer’s engineering and testing facilities, which provided a robust foundation in collision severity analysis.

As a Field Service Engineer for Jaguar Land Rover, Mr. Tully was responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving all vehicle issues, when the dealer service personnel lacked the in-depth knowledge to resolve the issues themselves.  Expanding upon this experience, Mr. Tully coordinates vehicle mechanical investigations on all vehicles from heavy trucks to passenger cars using the latest scan tools and equipment to analyze the vehicles’ electronic control systems for possible faults which may have caused or contributed to a crash or other unintended event.  His experience along with his specialized training as a Bosch CDR System analyst and Level II Technician allows him to extract and analyze crash or “black box” data in passenger vehicles.  Mr. Tully has training from the Society of Automotive Engineers in Accessing and Interpreting Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorders, which allows him to extract and analyze crash data from large trucks and buses.

Mr. Tully has testified as an expert in traffic accident reconstruction and vehicle mechanical systems in both New York and New Jersey courts, and has experience in offering deposition testimony in various accident reconstruction and vehicle mechanical cases.  He offers a unique perspective by relating his automotive engineering experience to the field of accident reconstruction. Mr. Tully is an avid do-it-yourselfer and enjoys boating during his many trips to the Jersey shore and Vermont with his family.  Mr. Tully is married with a son and daughter and resides in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
