In the absence of representative crash test data, SKE utilized a high precision force gauge and Car-O-Liner Benchrack structural frame alignment equipment to measure the force required to damage the rear bumper of this surrogate Jeep. The data was then used by SKE’s engineers to determine the severity of the crash and to determine what the occupants of the vehicle would have experienced during the crash.
